Disgraced Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters, imprisoned for election fraud, was found not guilty of assaulting another inmate, the Denver Post reported Tuesday.
Peters was, however, was found guilty of being in a section of the prison she shouldn’t have been in during January's incident, the Post said.
Peters, 70, is being held in the La Vista Correctional Facility in Pueblo. The adjudication was conducted by the Department of Corrections.
