ARAPAHOE DEPUTIES ARREST AUTO THEFT SUSPECT, SEIZE GUNS

Johnathan Quintero, 41, was arrested as a suspect in an auto theft and also faces illegal weapons charges, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said.

A Flock traffic camera alert led a special squad of deputies to the vehicle in the parking lot of a King Soopers store on South Havana Street on Tuesday.

"Deputies recovered an AK-47 and a MAC-10 with a suppressor, both with defaced serial numbers, along with a large amount of ammunition," the sheriff's office said. [Photo: Arapahoe County Sheriff]
