Enduring rain and hail, firefighters contained racing flames in a yard in Logan County in northeast Colorado.
Sterling Fire said 911 callers reported "fire spreading to nearby campers and a boat. On-scene units found an outbuilding with heavy fire throughout and fire spread to multiple exposures. Through the rain and even some hail crews deployed attack lines and worked to extinguish the fire." No injuries were reported in Wednesday's blaze in the community of Iliff. Firefighters from Sterling, Peetz, Crook and the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control answered the alarm. [Photos: Sterling Fire]
