A hit-and-run Ford F-150 pickup truck slammed a motorcycle Monday night in Adams County, killing the biker and injuring his passenger, the state patrol said.
The crash occurred at Federal Boulevard and West 66th Avenue and the truck was abandoned near Decatur Street, just south of West 67th Place. It was damaged in the crash.
State troopers identified a person of interest.
The dead biker was 38. His passenger, also a man, is 46. His injuries were considered serious and he was transported to hospital, according to the patrol.
