UPDATE
Searchers Monday located two bodies in the wreckage of a small aircraft that went missing in rocky terrain in Boulder County on Sunday night.
The flight originated in Longmont.
The Boulder County Sheriff's Office said: "A MedEvac helicopter and the Civil Air Patrol located the crash site of the missing aircraft south of the City of Boulder. Aircraft were further assisted by the Boulder Emergency Squad drone team.
"The crash site is situated north of Eldorado Canyon State Park and south of the Flatirons, in an area of difficult terrain. Rescuers reached the crash site at about noon today."
The single-engine aircraft disappeared from air traffic control radar screens at about 9:42 p.m. Sunday.
An emergency radio beacon aboard the aircraft was activated leading searchers to the area.
