Crooks in a white pickup truck towed away a homemade trailer carrying a bison sculpture from the Spring Hill Suites in Pueblo. The theft occurred at about 3:38 a.m. Saturday. "Video surveillance shows a white four door short bed pickup entered the parking lot," police said. "A short time later the pickup is seen leaving the parking lot with the trailer attached.
"The homemade trailer is described as black and had a passenger side access panel that was painted red with two pink ladder hooks on the side of the trailer." police said.
Spring Hills Suites is located at 170 South Santa Fe Ave.
It's not clear if the thieves were targeting the trailer, the metal sculpture - or both.
