'GUT PUNCH': TWO MISSING CLIMBERS DIED, SHERIFF SAYS

Searchers located the bodies of missing climbers Kaden Matsuda, 19, and Jackson Donlon, 20, on Wednesday in the snow-packed basin of West Apostle Mountain in Chaffee County, Sheriff Andy Rohrich said. Foul play is not suspected. The two adventurers were found near each other. The case is under investigation.

“Although this is a gut punch, our prayers were answered that we would find Kaden and Jackson, allowing some closure for the family," Rohrich said. The men, students at Colorado Mountain College, were on a weekend journey in the High Country.
