NO CAT 'LEFT BEHIND' AT BRIGHTON FIRE
Smoke poured from a second-floor window as screaming fire engines pulled up to a home in Brighton.
Thankfully, it wasn't too serious. The home's dryer was malfunctioning
Firefighters extinguished the flames, removed the appliance - "and made sure the family's four-legged member wasn't left behind, locating the homeowner's cat and bringing it safely back to its grateful owner," Brighton Fire said.
No injuries were reported in Wednesday morning's incident in the 1900-block of Griffin Drive and the residents were permitted to return to the dwelling.
