The Denver Post reports Denver's municipal government is set to start layoffs Monday.
The city is facing an almost a $200 million budget deficit this year, due in part to a drop in sales tax revenue, the Post reports, and worker morale has hit rock bottom.
The Denver Gazette reports Dr. Anne Flower, of Colorado Springs, broke a 31-year record at the Life Time Leadville Trail 100 Run - finishing Saturday's race at 17:58:19.
