In Colorado Springs, little Chistopher Enoch Abeyta was snatched from his crib early on July 15, 1986.
Thirty-nine years later, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children released an age-enhanced portrait of Christopher approaching middle age, building on earlier enhanced images.
The blue-eyed baby with strawberry blond hair was 7 months old when he went missing.
"Christopher was taken from his parents' bedroom in the middle of the night," according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation Cold Case File. "The investigation found the home garage door opener was missing and their basement window was open."
"The family thinks Christopher's father, Gil's, former mistress, Emma Bradshaw had something to do with the disappearance," website BabyCenter said. "She was prank calling the Abeyta house, for example, before Christopher was taken and the day he was discovered missing the prank calls stopped. She didn't show up to work that day."
Initially, Christopher's mother, Bernice, was a suspect.

The Abeyta family lived on Ashwood Circle, near Quail Lake, in southwest Colorado Springs, according to Fox 21. Christopher was born on Nov. 28, 1985, according to CBI. At the time of his disappearance, he stood 2-foot-2, weighed 22 pounds - with blue eyes and strawberry blond hair. [Photos: National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Abeyta family website]
