COLD CASE: WELD COUNTY'S BABY BROOKLYN

Cold case detectives see homicide as a possibility in the mysterious death of little Brooklyn Digesualdo in the Weld County community of Evanston more than a quarter century ago.

Her mother’s boyfriend of just a few months was babysitting on Jan. 22, 2000. The boyfriend told sheriff's deputies the child fell off the bed after he left a room. She had stopped breathing by the time he returned. 911 was called for help. "The cause of death was undetermined," the sheriff's office. "Foul play is suspected." Brooklyn was just 22 months old. If you have information, contact the Weld County Sheriff's Office (970) 304-6464 or crimetips@weld.gov
