COLD CASE: $100,000 REWARD FOR LEADS IN 2001 MURDER

There is a reward of up to
$100,000 for information leading to an arrest in the cold case killing of Thad "T.J. Tigges a quarter century.
Tigges, 33, was shot multiple times with a semi-automatic handgun just inside his home at 2951 Newton Street in northwest Denver on Jan. 25, 2001. Detectives determined the crime was committed between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. At the time, police Lieutenant Jon Priest told the Denver Post: "Everything is consistent with anger, that someone was very mad at him."

Tigges was a radiologic technologist at Denver Health Medical Center, the Post said. He had worked at other hospitals in the Denver area.
