MAGGIE LONG MURDER: $75,000 REWARD FOR ARREST IN COLD CASE

Authorities are offering a $75,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the killing of Maggie Long, 17, of Bailey, whose body was found in her burning and burglarized home eight years ago.

Investigators suspect more than one person may be responsible for the teenager's killing on Dec. 1, 2017, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said Sunday.

"We believe someone knows something that could help solve this case," Park County Sheriff Tom McGraw said. "It could take just one person to help our investigation."

If you have information, contact the Maggie Long Task Force at (303) 239-4243 or maggie.long.tips@state.co.us. Tipsters can remain anonymous.

"
Several items were stolen from the home at the time of her death to include guns, ammunition, jade figurines, and a safe," CBI said.
