ELEVATOR INSPECTORS GETTING SHAFT

CBS Denver reports the Denver Fire Department will assume elevator inspections to tackle what officials call a "public safety crisis." A private elevator contractor calls the city's plan a "100% a money grab." Denver is in the midst of a budget crisis - and aims to raise $2.1 million annually through elevators.
