UPDATE
Deputies busted a daredevil couple after their auto raced at upwards of 150 mph on I-25 into Wyoming - and doubled back into Colorado late Monday.
The driver cut his headlights after turning off at the rural Carr exit - and "for about 45 minutes, deputies spotted but then lost sight of the vehicle several times as it continued driving recklessly at high speeds," the Larimer County Sheriff's Office said. A deputy finally tracked the auto to a remote Weld County road at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday with just the woman passenger inside - and she refused to talk.
Not giving up the hunt, the Weld County Sheriff's Office launched a drone and spotted the driver. "The drone operator guided deputies to a fence line that was covered in tumbleweeds where the suspect was hiding," Weld County officials said. The man was suspected of being intoxicated. A gun was found in the auto. The crazed chase began near Wellington, Colorado. The Wyoming Highway Patrol and deputies from Laramie County, Wyoming, joined the two-state hunt.
