Avi Loeb, the Harvard astrophysicist tracking giant comet 3I/ATLAS, now estimates it's at least a million times larger than other interstellar visitors - further evidence it's a UFO powered by advanced rockets, London's Daily Star reports.
Loeb warns "we're screwed” if that's so.
In this official NASA image, the charcoal-colored mystery object is pictured zipping across our solar system - below and to the left of the sun.
Other scientists disagree with Loeb and contend 3I/ATLAS is just a comet, albeit a historically large comet. They also estimate it will pass by Earth.
It is a fascinating story and perfect tabloid copy.
