LIFE-THREATENING WOUND IN DRIVE-BY SHOOTING ON HIGHWAY 285

UPDATE

The passenger in an SUV was shot in the head and critically injured in Jefferson County in a road-rage attack.

The crime occurred Tuesday night at Highway 285 and Settlers Drive.
"Witnesses traveling behind the SUV reported observing what appeared to be a road-rage incident involving a second vehicle, described as a light-colored Subaru, traveling in the same direction," the sheriff's office said. The passenger underwent emergency surgery.
