Colorado won more than $400 million in federal funding to expand high-speed internet
coverage in rural areas, Governor Jared Polis said.
The broadband service will employ fiber, wireless and low-Earth orbit satellites communications.
"For too long, thousands of Coloradans have been stuck without reliable, high-speed internet needed to work, learn, run a business, or access health care," Polis said. "This historic investment will help ensure all Coloradans have affordable, high-speed internet to thrive," he said.
