UPDATE
Friday's peak wind gusts hit Boulder County - roaring in at 112 mph near Marshall and 102 mph near Niwot, the National Weather Service reported. The same area was ravaged by the most destructive urban/suburban wildfire in Colorado history - burning 1,000 homes and buildings - on Dec. 30, 2021.
