HUNT PUNKS IN $10,000 JEWELRY STORE HEIST

Police are hunting for a pair of youthful thieves who ran off with a gold chain worth more than $10,000 from a Zales jewelry store at Colorado Mills in Lakewood. The smiling duo snatched the bling Nov. 11 and may have pulled off a similar heist at another Denver area jewelry store, police said. A store employee told police the thieves asked to see the gold chain and bolted when a store employee handed it to them.
