IT'S A SCAM! HOLD ONTO YOUR WALLET!


Scammers posing as Adams County officials are sending fake e-mail invoices to businesses demanding thousands of dollars in permit fees to be paid by wire transfer. "Do NOT send them money," the sheriff's office warns on social media. Officials have received multiple report of the scam e-mails from e-crooks posing as employees of the departments such as Community and Economic Development and Marijuana Licensing.
