JUDGE NIXES PETERS' BID

A federal judge rejected disgraced Mesa County Clerk Tina Peter's request to be freed from prison. Peters, who also lost a bid to be transferred to federal prison, is imprisoned at the La Vista Correctional Facility in Pueblo for election fraud.
