Police shot and wounded a heavily armed man Tuesday night in the 600-block of Mount Princeton Drive in the Weld County community of Severance. The suspect was in the driver’s seat of an auto parked in a driveway. "An officer at the scene fired one shot, striking the suspect," officials said. His injuries were non-life-threatening. The confrontation stemmed from a domestic incident. In Grand Junction, an auto crashed into a building Wednesday in the 2600-block of Patterson Road. "The driver is suspected to have experienced a medical emergency," police said. "Despite lifesaving efforts by paramedics from the Grand Junction Fire Department, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene."
Meantime, in Pueblo a pedestrian was killed Wednesday on southbound I-25. In Denver, a person was stabbed overnight in the 2300-block of South Monaco Parkway while another was shot in the 1400-block of South Verbena Street.
