A fake license plate led to "a real arrest," Denver police say.
District 6 officers stopped a truck bearing a counterfeit and seized suspected crack and suspected powdered cocaine. The driver also had active warrants.
The incident occurred at East 16th Avenue and North Pennsylvania Street, near East Colfax Avenue, on Aug. 15, police said. The fake tag was affixed to the rear of the truck.
