Vultures - friend or foe?
They're "generally not aggressive towards healthy, living humans, with no reported cases of attacks," website Biology Insight says, and "are primarily scavengers, meaning their diet consists almost exclusively of carrion.
"They are not predators. When encountering people, vultures react by flying away or maintaining a safe distance."
