Dillan Roker, 27, is accused of throwing a 10-pound stone through the window of a manned police radar car in Greeley, police said Thursday.
The incident occurred in a school zone at 7 a.m. Wednesday.
"A photo enforcement technician was in the vehicle during the vandalism and suffered minor injuries," police said. "The damage caused to the vehicle was estimated to be $2,600."
The suspect - who had an active warrant for his arrest for an unrelated misdemeanor - attempted to flee with no luck and was taken to the Weld County Jail. He faces assault and criminal mischief charges.
