A windswept fire raged Saturday at a Lakewood apartment complex, injuring a resident, West Metro Fire said.
"Conditions were extremely windy, which helped fire spread," officials reported. "Smoke from the fire could be seen for miles." The cause of the blaze in the 1100-block of South Beech Drive is under investigation. [Photos: West Metro Fire, Joel Perkins]
