A head-on collision and blast of flames killed two drivers Friday night on Highway 285 in Larimer County - three minutes after someone called 911 reporting a drunk weaving in traffic in the area, the Colorado State Patrol said.

The drunk - reported to be in a Honda Accord - is believed to be one of the dead.
Meantime, a person died in a four-vehicle crash Friday night on Highway 85 in Wheat Ridge, near I-70, police said. Three others were injured. Officials reported a suspect was taken into custody - but didn't say why.
On I-225 in Aurora, police closed southbound lanes between 6th Avenue and Alameda Avenue early Saturday for a shooting investigation. "The victim sustained life-threatening injuries," police said. The suspect was at large.
In Denver, police reported "multiple traffic crashes with injury" early Saturday in the vicinity of I-25 northbound and Park Avenue West. Friday in Fort Collins, a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a Ford Explorer on South College Avenue, police said.
