A hit-and run-driver in a Ford F-150 injured a state highway worker on I-70 east of the Arapahoe County community of Strasburg on Tuesday, the Colorado State Patrol said.
The driver was arrested after abandoning the vehicle.
The highway worker "was in an active construction zone, clearly marked, repairing the guardrail on the left shoulder," the patrol said.
The suspect was identified as Kaleb Unrein, 25.
