ARREST SUSPECT IN TRAGIC SCHOOL BUS CRASH THAT INJURED 16


Police arrested the driver of a speeding SUV that plowed into a school bus carrying a wrestling team in Lakewood, injuring 16 people, officials said Friday.

Andrew Logan Miller, 22, of Denver, faces seven counts of vehicular assault, speeding at 40 mph or more over the limit, reckless driving, child abuse and other charges in last Saturday night's crash at
Kipling Parkway and West 6th Avenue. Several victims, from the bus and the SUV, remained hospitalized Friday. The wrestling team, from Central High School in Mesa County, was in town for a tournament. [Photo: Lakewood Police Department]
