Police provided new details Sunday on a shooting that injured a suspect near the Northglenn Marketplace in Northglenn on Friday night.They said: "When officers made contact with the individual, the suspect fled on foot. During the course of the foot pursuit, shots were fired by officers, striking the suspect. "Officers began rendering medical aid until paramedics arrived on scene. The suspect was transported to a local hospital. The suspect is expected to survive, but the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time." No police officers were injured.
