Truck driver Jose Salazar, 35, was charged with vehicular homicide, child abuse, driving under the influence and tampering with evidence in a four-vehicle wreck that killed a youth on I-25 in Loveland, the state patrol said Thursday.
Three other people were injured in Wednesday's wreck in the northbound lanes of the interstate near Crossroads Boulevard.
In Cheyenne, Wyoming, three teens were charged as suspects in a fatal shooting that occurred Nov. 12, police announced Wednesday.
Near Greeley, a man and woman died when their Lincoln MKC ran a stop sign, struck a fence, hit an embankment and flew into a tree, the state patrol said. Two youths were injured in Wednesday night's wreck at Weld County Road 33 and Highway 392. The man and woman were from Kansas.
A semi-truck crashed Thursday on I-70 west of Deer Trail, injuring the driver and spilling the vehicle's fuel, the patrol said. A medical helicopter evacuated the driver.
