TRAIN PLUNGES IN RIVER, TRAPS CREW; BOULDER ON TRACK

UPDATE

Rescuers saved two crew members trapped in a
Union Pacific Railroad locomotive that plunged into the Gunnison River in an isolated section of western Colorado, the Mesa County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday. There were no injuries in the train wreck between Highway 141 in Whitewater and the Bridgeport access to the river near the Mesa-Delta county line late Tuesday. A photo from the scene shows a boulder on the tracks. "I
mmediate access to the derailment location was limited due to the remote area and no direct road access" - and sheriff's deputies "launched a drone in an attempt to determine the exact location," officials said.
