Firefighters battled a blaze at an abandoned home packed with garbage Friday in Jefferson County, West Metro Fire said. The fire on Rooney Road near West Vassar Place was visible to drivers in the vicinity of C-470. Several called 911. No injuries were reported. [Photo: West Metro Fire]
