PEDESTRIAN KILLED ON E-470 DURING A.M. RUSH HOUR

A pedestrian was struck and killed on southbound E-470 in Aurora during the Thursday morning rush hour.

Southbound lanes were closed to traffic. The accident occurred at 38th Avenue, according to Aurora police. "An initial investigation has revealed an adult male pedestrian walked in front of a southbound Chevrolet truck and was hit," police said. "The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene." He was 34.
