MAJOR CRASH SHUTS DOWN I-25; 1 DEAD, 2 HURT

One person died when two autos and a motorcycle collided Tuesday night on I-25 in Denver, police said.

Two other people were injured and taken to hospital from the accident in the vicinity of Sixth Avenue. The fatality was pronounced dead at the scene. Southbound lanes of the interstate were closed at Eighth Avenue.

In a separate accident, a person died when a motorcycle and auto collided Tuesday night at East 13th Avenue and Race Street in Denver, police said. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a violent crime incident, a person was stabbed Tuesday night at East Colfax Avenue Street and Humboldt Street in Denver, police said.
