Damion Britt remained jailed Friday in a weekend shooting in Denver's Lodo bar district that wounded four people - though police now say the gunman is still on the loose.
In an update, police said "detectives determined Britt was not the shooter." Nonetheless, he remains in custody for investigation of attempted murder and assault and "investigators are working to identify and locate the shooter," police said. In announcing his arrest Thursday, police said they believed Britt, 21, and the "primary victim" were involved in an argument. That belief apparently hadn't changed as of Friday. The other three victims were bystanders, police said. The violence erupted late Saturday in the vicinity of 20th and Market streets, an area plagued by late night violence tied, in part, to partying at popular bars and clubs.
