COPS GOING UNDERCOVER AT CU FOOTBALL GAMES

In an effort to stem disruptive behavior at University of Colorado football games, police will station undercover officers in spectator sections at Folsom Stadium to expel rowdy fans - including entire rows, officials said Monday.

The school will also step up security response throughout the stadium and install technology to monitor fan behavior, officials said.

The unprecedented action follows the hurling of hateful slurs - including "an expletive and 'the Mormons,'" as one official described it - during CU's loss to Brigham Young University.

"Disruptive behavior, including foul, abusive, obscene or discriminatory language or gestures, as well as throwing items will result in immediate removal from the stadium," officials said.

"This can include entire rows or even sections if the disruptive behavior persists."
