GIRL, 16, MISSING FOR WEEK; COPS 'CONCERNED FOR HER SAFETY'

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an alert Thursday night for Diana Bates, 16, who has been missing for a week. Bates was last seen at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 3 in the 9600-block of West 69th Avenue in Arvada. Her phone was last pinged near Sixth Avenue and Federal Boulevard on Oct. 4.

"Law enforcement is concerned for her safety," CBI said. Bates is Hispanic, 5-feet tall and weighs 130 pounds with brown eyes, brown hair, braces and a nose ring. If seen, call 911 or Arvada police at (303) 980-7300. [Photo: CBI]
