CHICKEN COOP FIRE IN DENVER; BIRDS LOST


Fire struck a chicken coop early Wednesday in the vicinity of Federal Boulevard and Alameda Avenue in Denver. Flames spread to a nearby garage. The fire department said: "A large number of chickens were lost."
