NO VACATION FOR FIRE CREWS AS RV ERUPTS IN FLAMES OVERNIGHT

 

An RV blaze forced evacuations early Thursday in Commerce City. "Crews extinguished the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby structures" near 63rd Avenue and Monaco Street. the South Adams County Fire Department said.

"Evacuations of adjacent homes were carried out as a precautionary measure to ensure residents' safety," the department said. No injuries were reported. The RV was parked in the backyard of a home. [Photo: South Adams County Fire Department]
