News5 in Colorado Springs reports a toddler, age 3, crawled and climbed the perilous Manitou Incline without any assistance - just a little parental coaching.
"That was all him doing the incline," his mother said. "Baby steps and all.
"I just stayed behind him to make sure he didn’t fall back, and when the stairs were a little too high, I’d tell him to crawl," Caselyn Navarro said of her feisty son, Julian.
The incline has more than 2,700 steps. It began life in 1907 as a funicular.
