COLORADO'S BEARS ARE SPENDING MORE TIME IN TRASH BINS, DATA SUGGEST

Colorado Parks and Wildlife received 5,299 bear sightings and reports of troublemaking last year - about 300 more than a year earlier. Trash continues to be the No. 1 draw. Almost half of the incidents resulted in property damage.
