Lavon Wedgeworth, 44, was arrested as a suspect in a killing this week in Denver, police said Wednesday. The suspect's apprehension - for investigation of first-degree murder - stems from a shooting Tuesday in the 12400-block of East 42nd Avenue. The victim, a man, died at hospital, police said.
