Police located a man, age 80, walking near railroad tracks after his auto ran into a ditch near Prairie View Youth Center.
"Officers were able to find his information and contact the man’s wife, who confirmed he had dementia," Brighton police said.
Paramedics checked the man. Police drove him home. The incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. on March 14.
"If our officers are responding to the call, know that your family will be treated like our own family," police said.
