FARMLAND ABLAZE IN BENT COUNTY

UPDATE

Fire consumed more than 200 acres of farmland Monday along Highway 101 in Bent County in southeast Colorado, the sheriff's office said. No one was hurt. Las Animas/Bent County Fire attributed the cause to a "controlled burn that had escaped containment."
