REWARD RAISED IN COLD CASE MURDER IN AURORA

The Aurora Police Department and Metro Denver Crime Stoppers raised the reward in the cold case murder of Preston Alexander Guillory to $4,000, officials said Friday. “Investigators believe there were several bystanders in the area at the time of the shooting who have not yet spoken with police,” Aurora police Lieutenant Sean Mitchell said. Guillory, 27, was shot on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 3:30 a.m. outside a convenience store in the 12000-block of East Colfax Avenue. He died at the scene.
