TWO JAILED AS SUSPECTS IN WOLFF RUN PARK KILLING


A man and woman are locked up in the Adams County Jail as suspects in a deadly shooting at Wolff Run Park in Westminster, police announced Monday.
Kenny Espinosa, 27, and Charity Johnson, 35, were arrested in Eagle County three days after the Jan. 10 killing, police said. Westminster officers and detectives put in "tireless work" on the investigation, police said. Espinosa is facing charges of First Degree Murder, Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder in the First Degree, First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, Vehicular Eluding and two counts of Child Abuse.

Johnson is facing charges of Accessory to a Class 1 Felony, two counts of Attempt to Influence a Public Servant and two Counts of Child Abuse.
