APPEALS COURT ORDERS RE-SENTENCING OF TINA PETERS

The Denver Post reports the Colorado Court of Appeals ordered re-sentencing of disgraced Mesa Count Clerk Tine Peters, who is serving a nine-year prison term for election fraud. The court said the sentencing judge wrongly based part of Peters' sentence on her exercise of her right to free speech, the Post said.
