NEIGHBORING HOMES BURN IN CASTLE ROCK; CAT RESCUED


Fire struck two neighboring homes Wednesday in Castle Rock and authorities evacuated nearby dwellings as a precaution.

No one was hurt in the blaze near the intersection of Lantern Trail and Hampstead Avenue in the Founders neighborhood, according to Castle Rock Fire.
Crews rescued a cat from one of the homes. South Metro Fire, Franktown Fire and Larkspur Fire provided assistance and coverage. [Photo: Castle Rock Fire]
